In recognition of all the great work the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF) does for children and families affected by neuroblastoma, deal-of-the-day website Groupon is pushing the message across its national platforms with its #GrouponSaysThanks campaign on September 23.
CNCF President Patricia Tallungan expressed her gratitude to the Groupon company, and praised the concept behind #GrouponSaysThanks.
"We are extremely grateful to be included in the #GrouponSaysThanks campaign. Not only does it raise funds and our profile and better enable to us continue the fight against neuroblastoma, the recognition by Groupon is gratifying in and of itself," said Tallungan. "There are a lot of worthy causes out there, so we are honored to be chosen for this national campaign."
CNCF raises money to support research, educate families and raise awareness about neuroblastoma, which has an estimated 800 new cases a year. The Groupon opportunity comes during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
